an·tì·co (old) + nuò·vo (new)
A building studio that began as a practice integrating reclaimed materials with sustainable building practices. Learning to work with what we have and finding new and interesting ways to reinvent old materials in new spaces created the framework of Antico Nuovo. The innovative use of waste materials in order to create modern forms of architecture begins to bridge the gap between what is old and what is new. The ultimate goal is to design self-sustaining architecture in areas prone to some of the worst impacts of climate change while respecting our past through the use of these materials.
