An apartment renovation designed for a couple looking to retire in the beaitful coastal tow of Castellamare del Golfo in Sicily. Located on the main pedestrian walkway and gifted with a private terrace in the rear of the propety overlooking an outside amphitheater, provided the perect opportunity to design a thoughful reinterpretation of a local flat. The schemtic design process relied heavily on the local influence such as the nearby Norman-Arab archiecture and the ancient baths of Segesta.
